Protocol MD

Common questions

Everything you should ask.

Real questions from people who are tired of what is on the shelf and tired of what is on the corner of the internet. Protocol MD is built around the answer being a prescription, a clinician, and a paper trail.

  • Protocol MD is prescription peptide medicine, delivered through telehealth. You take a short health quiz, a US-licensed physician in your state reviews your case, and if they prescribe, your medication ships to your door from a US pharmacy. Real medicine, not the research-grade vials sold online.

  • Four steps: take the 60-second assessment, a US-licensed physician reviews your intake within 24 hours, your protocol is compounded by a 503A pharmacy, and it's cold-shipped to your door. Your physician checks in across your cycle, and on-demand messaging is always open in the patient portal.

  • Yes. Every prescription comes from a US-licensed physician credentialed in your state, not a chatbot and not an automated approval. Reviews are handled asynchronously through the patient portal, where you can message your physician if your case calls for it.

  • Compounded peptide therapy is generally not covered by insurance. Pricing is transparent and per-cycle. HSA/FSA eligibility varies by plan, and itemized receipts are available on request so you can submit to your administrator.

  • Pricing depends on the protocol your physician prescribes. Every plan is one charge per cycle, with no subscription, no autoship, and no membership lock-in. Your card is pre-authorized at checkout and only charged after your physician approves.

  • Protocol MD is available via telehealth in the states where our physicians are licensed. The quiz checks your state before you start. If we're not in your state yet, you can join the waitlist and we'll let you know when we are.

  • Labs aren't required for our current protocols. If you already have recent bloodwork, you can share it and your physician will factor it in. In some cases your physician may recommend labs.
