Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last updated: May 10, 2026
Your right to opt out
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and under similar laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. This page explains how Protocol MD handles personal information and how you can exercise that right.
Do we sell your personal information?
Protocol MD does not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We do not exchange your information for money with third-party data brokers or list vendors.
Do we 'share' your personal information?
Under the CPRA, "sharing" includes disclosing personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising — even when no money changes hands. We may "share" certain information (for example, online identifiers and inferences derived from your interactions with our site) with advertising and analytics partners to help us deliver and measure marketing.
We do not knowingly "sell" or "share" sensitive personal information (including health information) for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
How to opt out
You may opt out of the "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising by:
- Submitting a request. Email us at hello@protocolmd.com with the subject line "Opt-Out of Sharing."
- Sending a Global Privacy Control signal. We honor the GPC browser signal as a valid opt-out request from your browser or device. To enable GPC, install a supporting browser or extension.
- Adjusting cookie preferences. Use the cookie preferences interface on our site (when available) to disable advertising-related cookies.
We will process your opt-out request within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
Your other rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights, including:
- The right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- The right to access a copy of your personal information
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information
- The right to delete certain personal information
- The right to limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights
See our full Privacy Policy for details on how to exercise these rights.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may require you to verify your identity directly with us before processing the request.
